DAVID I. PRESLEY

Mr. Presley is involved with global collection and commutation work, with a concentration in dealing with reinsurers and insurers in Latin America. As a member of the firm’s Latin American Reinsurance Practice Group, Mr. Presley deals with very challenging matters in Latin America on a daily basis. Specifically, he has extensive experience with members of the GESB, POSA, Stetzel Thomson and PLAR Pools. His experience in this region of the world stems in part from living and studying abroad in areas such as Quito, Ecuador, and his fluency in the Spanish language.
In addition to his work with Latin American debtors, Mr. Presley also defends actions on behalf of various reinsurers throughout the world. Despite the challenges associated with the reinsurance industry and in particular with Latin American companies, Mr. Presley has managed to successfully handle millions of dollars in commutations/collections for his clients.
Mr. Presley received his B.A in International Studies from the University of Washington in 2001 and his J.D. from Villanova University School of Law in 2004.
